Role labels is a functionality feature that allows users to apply a label to showcase which responsibility they are playing on the project. This project was done at Productable, a innovation management SAAS platform for large organizations.
The initial project team consisted of 5-7 people. 2 engineers, 1-2 designer, and the managing stakeholders.
My role:
As the Product Designer on the project, I researched, designed, collaborated, and handed off the designs to engineer team.

Entering this project, the problem was very clear. No one knows who’s playing what role on a project, leading to confusion among users. This also lead to a low amount of collaboration amongst the users on their projects, which then led to slow project finishes, outcomes, or no funding to push forward.
